Professional Background:

Deirdre has practiced law in Ladner since 1983, and as a senior lawyer with Severide Law Group since its formation in 1996. She currently restricts her practice to family law and specializes in collaborative family law. She is also a certified family law mediator. Deirdre has regularly appeared as counsel in both Provincial and Supreme Court civil matters, and was also a federally appointed criminal prosecutor for several years. She is a former member of the Delta Police Board and a current member of the Delta Police Foundation.

Professional Background:

Danielle practiced law as a general practitioner, with a specialty in family law in Tsawwassen from 1986 until 2003 when she joined Severide Law Group. Danielle currently restricts her practice primarily to family law and is a certified family law mediator. Danielle is also fluent in French, having been raised in Quebec. Danielle is an experienced barrister who has appeared on many occasions in both Provincial and Supreme Courts in British Columbia, as well as the Court of Appeal.

David Severide

Professional Background:

  • David has practiced in the areas of civil litigation, wills and estates, real estate conveyancing and business law over the past twenty-five years, but has limited his practice primarily to the areas of business and wills and estates law since 2005.
  • David has a particular interest in assisting small and mid-size business owners with business acquisition and succession planning, as well as personal and family estate planning, including Powers of Attorney and Committee (court-appointed legal guardian) applications.
  • David has also been a frequent speaker at estate planning seminars, has been published in community newspapers, and has been a guest host on radio talk shows.

  • Thirteen years of international business experience in the cement, energy, steel, and transportation industries gained prior to embarking on his legal career.
  • Since being called to the British Columbia Bar, Oliver has chiefly practiced corporate/commercial law (commercial agreements, share/asset purchase & sales, shareholders’ agreements, corporate governance) and real estate matters (commercial/residential purchase & sales and leasing, real estate development, strata property matters). He has also handled numerous general commercial litigation matters concerning real property, environmental issues, tax, trust and estate matters.
  • Oliver has advised the boards and directors of a several not-for-profit charities and societies both as clients and on a volunteer basis. He is currently volunteering as an advisor to the CEO and board of Habitat for Humanity (Greater Vancouver).

Professional Background:

Greta practices primarily in family, estate and civil litigation generally after developing a passion for the courtroom during law school. She appears regularly in the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia, representing clients on a variety of litigation cases. She also volunteers her time at the Deltassist Ladner ProBono Clinic. Her personal interests include yoga, playing piano and singing with a choir. Greta looks forward to applying her knowledge and skills to assist both personal and business clients to resolve their legal disputes in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
